We are excited to be part of FABnyc Open Arts LES by bringing Tisto Studio’s community performance to E 4th street, just a couple blocks down from the museum. It’s an honor to partner with FABnyc, a team of artists and organizers rooted in the Lower East Side who spent years preserving cultural vibrancy, centering immigrant histories, and building toward contemporary futures — partnering with groups like the New York Immigration Coalition to ensure that community archives and cultural life belong to everyone, including the newest New Yorkers. We join them in solidarity.

On September 24th, the Museum is open until 9 pm for our Free Thursdays. Stop by to see current exhibitions, and at 7 pm we invite you to walk over to E 4th street between Bowery and 2nd Ave to see Tisto Studio’s community performance as a part of FABnyc (Fourth Arts Block) Open Streets program.

After the performance, audiences are welcome at the museum for free drinks, desserts from Veselka and social hour from 8 to 9 pm.
