Kids & Family Day II: A Living Canvas with Interactive Event

October 18, 2026
1-4 pm
Join us for our second Kids & Family Day celebrating our bold and colorful exhibition A Living Canvas with hands-on fun activities!
Our special feature is an interactive art event curated by Ukrainian-born American artist Irina Rodnikoff. In this special hands-on activity, kids are invited to create a collaborative artwork right in the exhibition gallery! Here, creation becomes both a medium for connection and an expression of our shared humanity. The finished artwork created collaboratively by the children will be auctioned by Liberty Ukraine, with all proceeds supporting Ukraine and its people.
Irina Rodnikoff is a Ukrainian-born multi-disciplinary artist working in installation, sculpture, and painting and balances her studio practice with work as a scenic artist in film and television production. Her accolades include the Serf Award in Art, the TOW International Research Award, and the CUNY Shaw Award for Excellence in Painting.
Families can also join a scavenger hunt through the galleries, then dive into craft stations for painting, sculpture, collage, and more!
Best for kids ages 3–12, but everyone’s welcome — drop in anytime between 1 and 4 pm. $ 5 per family member. Register today to save your spot!
